Today's nap boot camp had some highs and lows. With each nap as soon as I put Ben down he fussed for just a few seconds and then went right to sleep! Yay!!! I am glad we seem to have accomplished one of our goals for the week. The other goal is going to be tougher to achieve.
Every nap today Ben slept for 30 minutes and then woke up. I was tough today and let him cry the next 30 minutes hoping he would go back to sleep. That was really hard. With the first nap he came so close to going back to sleep several times. The other two naps he just cried and cried. I knew he needed to sleep longer each time. He was so tired all day long only having such short naps.
After his third nap he was starting to get really fussy and overtired and so I gave in and held him while he slept a little more. I didn't want to do that this week, but I think it was the best choice because he really needed some more sleep. Tomorrow we will try again. I really hope since he is now able to go to sleep on his own at nap time that it will help teach him to be able to go back to sleep once he wakes up after 30 minutes.
And now for some cute pictures from today.
I love this monkey outfit!

I think his shoes are on the wrong feet in this one!
Oops, it was a long day for momma.

So sleepy even though he just got up.
I love these giraffe shoes.
They are the only way I can keep socks on his feet.

Trying to get the camera
What a cute behind!
