Two Month Pictures
Cousins!
Ben attended his first birthday party this weekend. His cousin Luke turned 3! Ben got to play with his cousin Kate who is just 3 months older than him. I can't wait to see these two grow up together. I hope they become good friends.

Happy Father's Day Shawn
Happy Father's Day to such a great daddy. I knew you would be such a wonderful dad to our children one day, and now I am getting to live it. You are so great with Ben and we love you SO much!!!

2 Months Old
Ben turned 2 months old this week. We went to the doctor and he got 5 shots! He cried so hard that no sound was coming out when he got them, but as soon as she handed him to me he completely stopped. That made me feel so special, like he loves me just as much as I love him! Ben weighed 12 pounds and is 23" long. He was in the 50th percentile for both weight and length. He is now smiling and cooing all the time. He is holding his head up more and more and becoming more steady. He is starting to play and loves laying in his activity gym. There he likes to look at himself in the mirror. He also occasionally hits the toys with his hands and watches them move.

Ready to Swim?
Ben tried his swim suit on to see if it fit yet and it does! I guess we will have to go swimming soon. Aren't his little flip flops adorable?

Bored in the Bumbo
In the last few days Ben has been holding his head up so good we decided to try out the bumbo seat. He did great in it, but he seemed to be bored.
He's happy now!

A Cute Little Video
The quality of this video isn't great, but it is a very cute video of Ben smiling and starting to coo.
Ben's First Road Trip
Ben went on his first road trip this past weekend to Fort Worth. He did great in the car and was such a good little traveler (except for all of the baby gear he needed). We went to visit Shawn's family and attend my cousin Robbie's graduation party.
