Showers

We had a very busy weekend with 2 showers on Saturday. First, we had the Women's church shower. It was a very pretty shower and we received many beautiful gifts. Saturday night we had the Blatchley's Couple's Shower. It was a fun cookout by their pool. We received many wonderful gifts. Shawn was glad to receive some non kitchen items, such as the tool set and laser leveler. We want to thank everyone for the great gifts and for all of the family and friends that traveled from out of town for the shower.

Here is Shawn and my engagement picture we took a couple weeks ago. I think it turned out great. I can't wait to get some prints of it and put the announcement in the paper. We are starting to run out of time! I can't believe it is just a little over 3 weeks away!!!

Las Vegas!!!

My mom, Aunt Julie, Lindsey, and I just got back from a girl's trip to Las Vegas. We had a great time. We finally were able to see Danny Gans. It is a great Vegas show and was well worth the wait. Since it was a bachlorette party like trip I was taken to Frederick's of Hollywood where I was treated to a shopping spree. It was a great trip and I can't wait to take Shawn there one day. Although I am not sure that he will like it that much, but you have to go at least once.
