Today Ben spent his entire day sleeping. It is funny how we are getting hardly any sleep and he is hardly ever awake. Tomorrow we have to go back to the doctor's office. When we left the hospital he had dropped from 8 pounds 1 ounce to 7 pounds 6 ounces. Yesterday he dropped another ounce, so hopefully tomorrow he will have finally put some weight back on. I really don't want to have to supplement with formula.

I hope your appointment went well. Weight gaining issues are so stressful! But I'll echo what Toddler Tales said. Elizabeth was born weighing 8lbs 3ozd, dropped an entire pound in the hospital, had some nasty jaundice issues, but somehow, at 2 weeks, was back at birth weight. I'm sure Ben will start gaining weight soon.
By the way Dana, you make other c-sections mom (ok, really, just me!) look like death! You look beautiful! Did you really have a c-sec just under a week ago???? :-)
