My baby is growing up and has very quickly changed from a baby into a walking and talking toddler. Ben has learned so much this month. He is now walking everywhere! He is constantly on the move and getting into everything. He has really started talking a lot and will try to repeat almost every word you ask him to. His favorite words are momma, dada, baba (bottle), shoes, bat, ball, chair, zoo, night-night, shirt, choo choo train, book, side(outside), cheese, hat, and hot. He has really been stuck on the word hot lately and declares everything hot. He will waves his arm around and blow air to cool it off. He also loves to say whatsdat (what's that?) when he is trying to learn what something is.
Ben wears size 6-12 month clothes still, a size 5 diaper, and size 3 shoes. He is a pretty good eater. His favorite food is cheese followed by almost any kind of fruit. He actually is a very good vegetable eater, with tomatoes being his favorite. Ben LOVES his baba and probably drinks about five large sippy cups a day at breakfast, lunch, nap time, dinner and bed time. Ben now has seven teeth, four on top and three on the bottom.
Ben has really begun understanding directions. He will help me put his toys away, shut the refrigerator or dishwasher for me, put his dirty clothes in the hamper, throw stuff in the trash (most of the time stuff that isn't trash) and most other things I ask him to do. He loves being my big helper. Ben is learning something new everyday. He can point to his nose, ears, eyes, hair, tongue, and belly.
We have transitioned Ben to one nap a day and it really seems to be going well. He sleeps from 8pm to about 8am and then takes his afternoon nap after lunch. He will sleep anywhere from one and a half hours to three hours.
Ben loves to play baseball with his daddy. Shawn will put the ball on his baseball tee and Ben will hit it off with his bat. It is so cute! I know I will be seeing a lot more of that in my future!
Ben where is your nose?
Your belly?
Your hair?
Your ears?
He loves showing his belly!

Being silly!

Ben loves water. He started swim lessons this month and his teacher says he is doing so well!
