I can’t believe our sweet baby boy is ONE!!! This year has gone by so fast. It has been so much fun, and we are so in love with our little guy. Ben is now crawling the right way on his hands and knees all the time now. He isn’t interested at all in walking without holding on to something. Ben’s newest thing is waving bye bye. When he waves he opens and shuts his mouth like he is saying bye bye. Ben doesn’t have any real words yet, but he calls everything dat! Dogs, babies, toys, basically anything can be called dat.
Ben went to the doctor today for his 12 month well visit. He weighed 20.8 pounds which is in the 15-20th percentile. His length was in the 50th percentile at 29 1/4 inches. As his doctor was examining him Ben kept waving bye bye to him as if he were saying that's enough, we'll see you later:-) Ben has four teeth. He is wearing 6-12 month clothes finally, a size 3 shoe, and size 4 diapers. Ben is sleeping great. He sleeps from 8pm-8am and takes two naps that are about an hour to an hour and a half long.
Ben refuses to eat baby food anymore. He is pretty much eating whatever we eat now. He loves chicken, blueberries, peas, carrots, beans, cheese, and goldfish. Ben is now weaned and drinking the next step formula, but he had whole milk for the first time and took it with no problems!
We are really enjoying the spring weather. We spend every evening outside either playing on the playground, going on walks, or pushing Ben in his car.

LOVE IT!!! I can't believe how old he looks in that last picture! Wow. What a difference a year makes, huh? It's crazy that Neil can do so much stuff, like drink out of a sippy, and couldn't even lift his little head this time last year. WOW. It blows me away. I miss having a newborn. But I'm loving it now, too.
