One more month until Ben is One!?!?!?!? This past year has gone by way too fast. I wish I could go back and spend a day at each month. Ben is changing daily and while I love this stage he is at, I miss my sweet little baby that would let me hold him whenever I wanted. Now he doesn't ever want to be held. He still army crawls, but he can crawl the right way just not as fast. I think he will be walking soon. He can walk holding just one of my hands now, and he is starting to let go when moving from one object to the other.

The best word to describe Ben is busy. He is constantly on the go. He can make it from one room to the next in no time, and he is into everything. We have done a lot of baby proofing this month because Ben can get into anything. His favorite thing right now to do is play outside. He crawls to the door to the garage and bangs on it wanting to go play with his car. Anytime you open the back door Ben gets so upset if you don't take him out there to play. He loves to go out there to swing or see Macie.

This month Ben has been talking a lot, but not saying any specific words yet. Ben loves to pretend he is talking on the phone. Anytime a phone rings he holds his hand up to his ear to talk. He love to clap and dance and play peekaboo.

Ben still has just four teeth and I haven't noticed any new ones coming soon. He has been sleeping great lately. He is sleeping through the night and now with the time change he is sleeping until after 8am! He is FINALLY taking great naps. He will sleep anywhere from 1-2 hours in the morning and in the afternoon. It has been wonderful!

I think Ben probably weighs around 20 pounds now. Thankfully we aren't having to do anymore weight checks. His doctor has been wanting me to supplement him with formula, and I have finally found one that he likes so I think that is really going to help his weight gain. Now I am just nursing in the morning and at night. Ben still eats baby food, but I don't think he will much longer. Tonight he did feed himself his entire dinner of finger foods. He is feeding himself blueberries, apple slices, banana, bread, pasta pick ups, meat sticks, and much more. Despite him eating a lot more he still has not outgrown all of his 3-6 month clothes. He mainly wears 6-9 month clothes as well as a size 4 diaper and a size 3 shoes.

His chair pictures were so hard to take this month. I can't believe we even got any pictures of him in it. As soon as Shawn would set him in the chair he would immediately squirm out of the seat.
We had to use lots of distractions including books, Praise Baby, the remote and a couple balls.

Ben loves playing with his daddy

And likes to help Shawn mow the yard
He loves to pull all of the diapers out of the diaper stacker
He climbs on anything he can
Adam is so good with Ben

Ben can't believe he is going to be One in a month!
Here is a little sneak peak into the next month!

Hi Dana. I've been following your blog but not commenting. I have a little boy a day younger than Ben. Ben is such a cutie! Love all the pictures you get of him!
