Eight months already! Ben is growing up way too fast. It has been another great month. Ben has become mobile this month. He isn't crawling yet, but he can roll and scoot anywhere he wants to go and he is quick! He is getting up in the crawling position now, but ends up scooting backwards. Ben has also started pulling up. He no longer wants to just sit in Momma's lap :-( He has to be on the go always trying to get into something.

Ben has started talking a lot. It is so sweet. He is making the B sounds baa and bob. Ben loves to play peek-a-boo. He will hold up a blanket covering up his face and then will quickly pull it down and just smile so big. It is SO cute and just melts my heart every time. He also has started to dance to music. He will start bouncing up and down. Ben has started giving me kisses, although it is more like he leans over sticks out his tongue and slobbers all over me.

I have no idea how much he weighs. Everyone thinks he is so big, but his cheeks are very deceiving. He still wears a lot of 3-6 month clothes and some 6-9 months. He is now wearing a size 3 diaper. His hair is growing fast, and he now has a baby mullet. His eyes are still the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen!

Ben eats twice a day. He usually has yogurt in the morning and then a veggie and a fruit for dinner. He still loves his puffs. He also loves to eat apples, oranges, peaches, pineapple, and bananas with his mesh feeder. He loves that thing and will chew on it for over ten minutes and then he drops it on the ground when he is done.

He is sleeping pretty good. He usually goes to bed about 7:30 and sleeps until 6am, eats and then lately he has been going back to sleep for an hour or so. That has been great for his Momma :-) Naps are still hit or miss lasting anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.

Ben still does not have any teeth, but I think he might be getting close. He is going through a separation anxiety phase right now and cries whenever I walk away from him. I colored my hair a lot darker yesterday, and I was very nervous at how he would react. He looked at me and then looked up at my hair and then started crying. Thankfully he got over it quickly and hasn't noticed anymore.

We are so excited to celebrate our first Christmas with Ben. We will be traveling to Shawn's parents this weekend to celebrate with them. We will be spending Christmas morning at home which will be such a special time for our little family of three, and then we will be going to celebrate with my parents later Christmas Day.
