7 Months

Another month has come and gone. This past month has been wonderful. Ben is at such a fun age and has been such an easy baby. It might have something to do with the fact that he is now sleeping through the night!!!!! It is so funny how strange it feels to me to go to bed at night and not wake up until it is light outside. I don't think I have slept through the night without getting up once since before I was pregnant. Nap time is still the same. He sleeps anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.

Ben is changing so much these days. He is trying to get up on his hands and knees to crawl. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I am excited for him to learn how to crawl, but I know life will change so much when that day comes. He also pulled up in his crib once, but we quickly lowered the mattress and he can't anymore.

Ben is eating stage 2 baby foods now and has also started eating puffs and biter biscuits. He loves finger foods and has become very good at getting them in his mouth. He still nurses about every 3-4 hours and has solids once in the evening. I have tried feeding him solids in the morning as well, but he really hasn't been interested in them then.

I don't know how much he weighs, but I am guessing around 17 pounds. Many people think he is such a big baby, but he is still wearing 3-6 month clothes and a few 6 month clothes. All of the winter clothes I bought him last year when they were on sale are 6-12 months and I am afraid he is not going to be able to wear them before winter is over. He is still wearing a 2-3 diaper, but is about to move on to 3's.

This Thanksgiving we have so much to be thankful for!!!
