My baby is 6 months old!!! Where has half of the year gone? The last month has been such a great month. Ben is now an excellent sitter and can roll over both ways. He is so much more independent now that he can sit up and play with his toys. He is also standing very well now and can hold on to something and stand by himself. Ben started Kindermusik this month and he loves it!!! I thought he might be too young for it, but I think he is at the perfect age and he just loves all the songs.
Ben now weighs 15 pounds 10 ounces which is the 48th percentile. He is 26 1/2" long which is the 75th percentile. He is almost double his birth weight and has grown a little over half a foot! He still wears 3-6 month clothes and a 2-3 diaper.
We are still having some sleep issues, but they are improving. He sleeps from about 7pm-6:30 am, but still gets up about once in the night around 4am. I'm not sure if that is out of habit or if he is hungry at that point. He never sleeps through the night. I can't believe it has been half of a year since I had an uninterrupted night of sleep. I sure miss my sleep.
Nap time has improved. Most of the time he still wakes up after 30 minutes, but most of the time I can get him to go back to sleep for about 30 more minutes. A couple of times this week he has taken an hour and a half long nap without me having to go back in there. Yay!!!
This month has been such a wonderful month and each day I look at him and think I love you more and more each day! God blessed Shawn and I so much with such an adorable, sweet, and wonderful son. He has brought so much joy to our life. I am so Happy!

Today he tried a sippy cup with water for the first time. He loved it and actually did pretty good at drinking it himself.
