Colorado

Last week Shawn and I spent the first time away from each other since we were married. I went to Colorado with my family for a week while he stayed home to study. It was very hard to be away from each other. Neither of us got much sleep while I was gone. It is amazing how quickly you get used to someone in your bed in 3 short months. I think we both agreed we will not be spending that much time apart for a very long time.

While in Colorado, I had a nice time with my family. I enjoyed getting to spend time with our newest family member, Luke. He is the sweetest baby, and he is looking more and more like Casey everyday.

We also went to, I believe, every park in the Vail Valley. I don't think I have ever been to so many parks, but it was fun to watch Lauren run around from place to place. She had a great time.

Happy Birthday Shawn!!!

On Saturday, we celebrated Shawn's 32nd birthday. We had a great time. We went to Houston and ate at Pappasitos. When we got home Shawn opened his present and we had cookie cake. We had a wonderful day together, that was very special after I have been out of town for a week.

Did you know that when you are 32 it takes TWO boxes of candles?

1998 Ford Ranger For Sale!!!

On Saturday, Shawn and I drove to Hempstead and got him a new truck. It is a Ford F-150, 4 door, 4x4 truck. It is maroon with a tan leather interior. It is a lot more comfortable and roomy. Plus other people will be able to ride with us now.

If anyone is interested in a 1998 Ford Ranger let us know. It is a great truck and is in great condition.

Circus

On Wednesday, Lindsey, Kenny, Lauren, Shawn, and I went to the circus. We had a great time. It was a lot of fun to watch Lauren enjoy every moment of the circus. There were tigers, llamas, zebras, dogs, elephants and a lot more. I never realized an elephant was so large, they are 9000 pounds.

No one in my family was able to take pictures during the ceremony because they were kind of busy, so I never got to see what it looked like. On Sunday, my mom received some pictures that Mrs. Gronberg was able to capture during the ceremony. I love them!! It was so nice to finally see what the ceremony looked like. I feel like I am never going to get the pictures from the photographer that captured everything. Hopefully soon, but for now here are these.

Honeymoon in Jamaica

We had a wonderful time in Jamaica. The food and drinks were great, especially since they didn't cost anything!! All inclusive is the way to go on a trip. We had appetizers, entrees, desserts, and drinks with every meal. The hotel was beautiful. I don't think we could have picked a better place to go to. We are glad to be home though and everything can get back to normal. We are having a lot of fun living together and playing husband and wife. I love getting to tell my husband goodnight and goodmorning everyday. I must say this is the happiest time in my life. I feel so comfortable and content. I am loving married life. I know there will be hard times ahead, but it will be worth it. We hope everyone is doing well and hope to see eveyone soon.
