Logan's FIrst Birthday

The weekend before Logan's birthday we had a party for him.  Of course it was owl themed!

On the dining table I had printed out all of Logan's chair pictures with his monthly update.

Logan was tired and a bit overwhelmed when we sung happy birthday.

One Year Old

 Logan is One!!!  It has gone by SO quickly.  Logan is such a sweet and happy baby.  We are so in love with him.  Logan and Ben are starting to develop a friendship that is so sweet.  Ben is always eager to help him.  Logan has waved in the past, but he now seems to understand it and loves to wave hello and goodbye.  Logan is starting to take a step or two when we encourage him.  He is also standing by himself for longer periods of time.  Logan has started shaking his head no when you ask him a question.  He is also raising his arms up high when you ask him, how big is Logan?  Then he claps for himself!  He seems to be doing something new almost everyday.  It is so much fun! 

Logan now weighs 20 pounds 4 ounces and is in the 30^th percentile!  He is finally gaining weight!  He is 30” long and in the 50^th percentile.  His head is 47.5 cm and in the 85^th percentile.  Logan sleeps great at night from 8pm-7am, has a bottle and then goes back to sleep until about 8:30.  He is napping a little bit better, but it is still hit or miss.  Logan wears 6-12 month clothes, a size 4 diaper, and a size 3 shoe.  Logan’s favorite foods are yogurt, blueberries, cantaloupe, peas, carrots, chicken, and cheese.  He loves to eat and just shovels it in as fast as he can.  He gets very upset when mealtime is over and I wipe his face off.  I’m really looking forward to the next year and watching Logan’s personality develop!
