9 Months

Logan is 9 months old!  He weighs 17 pounds, 8 ounces and is 26.5 inches tall.  He is a tiny little guy!  Logan had a very rough month.  He had his first real illness that lasted about two weeks and involved breathing treatments, oral steroids, three antibiotic shots, and oral antibiotics.  He was so pitiful for about two weeks.  It was so sad.  He was well for about 10 days and then he got croup.  To top that all off he was teething and finally got his first tooth!  He now has a secondary virus on top of the croup and is on another prescription.  Poor baby is coughing and wheezing so much, but he is such a trooper that you would hardly even realize he was sick.  

Despite being so sick he has been busy this month and has become such a fast crawler.  He is pulling up on everything and starting to walk around holding onto things.  He is busy and moving nonstop.  Logan has been eating a lot more finger foods this month.  He hardly wants anything to do with baby food anymore.  We went back to his gastroenterologist this month, and he was very pleased to see that Logan has gained a little bit of weight despite being so sick.  His reflux has improved and is spitting up much less, which I am so thrilled about!  

Logan is such a sweet and fun baby! I hope and pray that we have a much better month.

Pumpkin Patch

One of the best parts about the school that Ben and his cousins go to is that all three of them have Friday off.  That has allowed us to get to go and do fun things together on these days.  We can't wait for the weather to cool off some more and go to the zoo and such.  Today we went to a pumpkin patch.

8 Months

Logan is 8 months old!  He weighs 16 pounds 13 ounces and is now in the 8th percentile for weight.  Logan is changing so much everyday.  He is army crawling everywhere and has gotten so fast.  He is also pulling up a lot.  We had to lower his crib again!  He has really gotten into playing with his toys this month, but also likes to follow me around the house while I try to get stuff done.  This month he has started making the B sound and he loves to laugh and squeal!  This last week he has started to eat more finger foods.  He is eating sliced carrots, sweet potatoes and beans.  He is also able to eat the baby food pouches himself.  He loves getting to feed himself!  Logan sleeps great at night.  He usually sleeps from about 7:30pm-7:30am.  He doesn't nap very well.  He usually only takes 30 minute naps unless I am able to rock him back to sleep.  Logan started to wave this month.  It is so cute!  He is changing too fast!

A couple of weeks ago Ben started his first day of 3 year old preschool!  He loves school and is always so excited to go.  He walks right into his classroom and doesn't look back!
