A Day at the Zoo

We took Ben to the Cameron Park Zoo this morning in Waco. It was so much fun. Ben would point at the animals and wave at them. He tried to repeat all of the names. He said zoo and giraffe pretty well. Just in the last week Ben has become a full time walker, and he had so much fun walking around at the zoo. He refused to ride in the stroller and would have a fit anytime we tried to pick him up.

Memorial Day

We had a wonderful Memorial Day at the ranch. We did lots of swimming, playing on the play ground, and in the sandbox.

This was Ben's first time playing in the sand box. He really seemed to like it and could have played for hours. I hope we can take him to a beach somewhere this summer.

Ben is a little fish and loves the pool. He starts swim lessons on Thursday. I think this picture is so cute and shows how much Ben loves his Daddy

First Hair Cut

Ben got his first real hair cut on Thursday. His hair was getting very long and a bit unruly. He did so great! No tears! He just sat in the little car and played.

Monday

Today was a busy day. I ran a lot of errands while Ben stayed with my parents. Here are some pictures from lunch. Ben loves corn-on-the-cob. For only having 6 teeth, he does a really good job of getting the corn off the cob. He is really starting to walk more and longer distances. He also walks on his own without bribing him. He is so proud of himself when he does walk and will sit down and clap for himself. I think he is beginning to wonder where his Momma is. He was calling her this evening and went to the back room where Dana works looking for her. We sure do miss Momma!!
