Max

Today my Mom, Lindsey, and I worked on this baby gift. My mom made the pacifier clip, Lindsey did the monogramming, and I made the wipe case. We have a great little system down. We are also going to make a taggie blanket with a bigger elephant on it.
I love this fabric.

We are going to add some wide brown ric rac to this.
I love this elephant. I hope I can find some time to make Ben a shirt with it.

Playing Outside

We enjoyed the warmer weather outside today while Shawn was grilling some steaks.

Ben loved being outside with Macie

Today's Project
A Wipe Case
The case isn't perfect, but I think I will get better at it as I make more.
It was a lot of fun to make.
I love this two colored font
Burp Cloth
Flower Onesie
If I can find some ribbon to match I think I will add a strip below the flower.
The end result-An awesome shower gift for only about $6!

Ten Months
Only two months until he is a year old!!! I just can't believe it. My baby is getting so old. This month Ben has been so busy. He is constantly on the move. He will army crawl to something he can pull up on, and then he will cruise everywhere either walking along the furniture, with his walker, or even walking along the walls. He will also stand for about 15 seconds at a time. Ben loves to clap and will clap at the right spots when I sing If your happy and you know it. He is starting to wave, but only when he wants to. Ben's newest favorite thing is to play in the cabinets. He opens the doors and pulls everything out of them. Ben started to say Dada this month. He also loves to say Up. He doesn't know what it means, but he says it over and over again. Ben loves Praise Baby and when an animal comes on the screen he gets so excited.

Ben got three new teeth this month, the second on the bottom and the top two. With the new teeth and having been sick he has not been sleeping through the night anymore :-( Hopefully he will get back on track soon. Ben weighs about 19 pounds. We have been working on trying to get him to gain some weight since he dropped to the tenth percentile. In the morning he eats yogurt, cheerios and banana. For lunch he has yogurt again and veggie baby food with some finger foods. Then for dinner we eats 2 meat baby foods and a fruit baby food plus some finger foods. He nurses three to four times a day on top of that. I feel like I am feeding him so much, so hopefully he will really start gaining some weight.

Ben still wears lots of 3-6 month clothes, but has finally out grown some of them. He is also wearing 6-12 months, but they are usually pretty big. He is finally filling up his size two shoes and will probably be wearing threes soon. He is wearing a size three diaper, but I am about to switch him to a four.

Such a Sweet Face
I love his profile

More Bags

Today I monogrammed some more bags. They are really easy and fun to do.

I got these next four bags from JoAnn's for 97 cents each!

I'm sorry if these posts are boring, but I am having so much fun!

Today's Project

Today I monogrammed a bag I bought for my niece Courtney. She is eleven years old and I thought she would like this a lot. I love how the colors match the bag perfectly and they just pop on the black fabric.

Tomorrow I hope to have Ben's ten month post up. I took pictures today, but they just didn't turn out that great. It is really hard to get a very active busy boy to sit still and smile in his chair. Plus I should have his current weight tomorrow. I am going to take him back to the pediatrician because his diaper rash has started to get bad again. Poor baby :-( Hopefully his weight will be up so we don't have to go back for a weight check.

Birthday

Today is my 27th birthday. It has been a great day. First we went to church and to lunch, then had naptime and then Shawn took me to a movie and to dinner. It doesn't get much better than that.

This is Ben's newest outfit I made him. It turned out a little retro looking.

I wanted a picture of Shawn and I, but we were running late to the movie.
Thank you to my boys for such a great day and to my mom for babysitting!
