Mother's Day

I had a great first Mother's Day. We went to the ranch for lunch, and it was so nice to get out of the house. I am so thankful for my sweet little boy. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy this day, since the past couple of Mother's Day were so hard.

Ben looked especially cute in his outfit today.

I Love Daddy

Almost 9 months ago, we had our new dining room table and chairs delivered. Shawn never saw them in the store and when he got home from work that day he went to see the table. This is what he found.

And now today, our sweet baby is here and loves his Daddy so much!

Ben's Chair

Ben tried out his chair this week. It is my goal to take his picture in it every month to watch him grow. He already looks so big and grown up in the chair, it makes me sad. He is growing up too fast.

3 Weeks Old

Three weeks have gone by already??? Ben is changing so much each day and growing so fast. I forgot to mention last week that at his 2 week doctor's appointment he weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces. That is 5 ounces more than his birth weight! If you click on the pictures and look closely you can see that his eyes are really starting to lighten up around the pupil and are turning blue!

Ben's First Trip to the Ranch

We left the house for the first time today to go somewhere other than the doctor's office! It was so nice to get out of the house and visit Granny and Pa at the ranch. I was a little nervous driving alone with Ben for the first time, especially for a half hour drive, but he did great and slept the whole way.

We were unable to make it to the March for Babies today, but Ben wore his shirt yesterday to show his support of the March of Dimes.
