Poll

On the sidebar, I have added a poll for everyone to guess how much Ben will weigh. At my 36 week ultrasound, they said he weighed about 6 lbs 10 ounces. My guess is he will be around 8 lbs!

38 Weeks

I am now 38 weeks and only have 4 days to go!!! At my appointment this week my doctor said he thinks Ben is getting to be a big baby, and we should go ahead and induce to keep him from getting too big. So Tuesday night we will go to the hospital and in the morning they will start pitocin. I can't wait to meet our baby boy! We will have the laptop with us and I am going to try to post some updates while we are at the hospital. Please pray that everything will go well and that Ben will be a healthy boy!

37 Weeks

Full Term!!!

And it's April!!!

There have been no changes since last week's appointment, so it is probably going to be awhile. But, as long as I don't go overdue, there's less than 3 weeks to go.

36 Weeks

Almost full term!!! I have had a few rough days this past week. On Saturday, after feeling great all day I was hit with what I guess was an hour long stomach bug. It left me dehydrated and with contractions. We decided to go to labor and delivery just to be safe. Once we got there I wasn't having anymore painful contractions (I had drank a bunch of water at home), but there were still some contractions showing up on the monitor. More water didn't make them stop, so they went ahead and gave me an IV. That did the trick, but I am now dilated to one. Yesterday, I had another strange day. I had a horrible night only getting three hours of sleep. My throat was a little sore when I woke up, but I didn't think it was anything. That afternoon and evening I felt horrible and achy with a fever. Today I feel great. Who knows what is going on with me these days. I just blame it on the pregnancy and am glad that I am feeling better!

Less than a month...

35 Weeks

4D Ultrasound

Today we had our second attempt at a 4D ultrasound. Last week, Ben wasn't cooperating and was face down. This week was a little better. He was facing the right direction, but his face was kind of smooshed in the placenta. Below are the two best looks we got of him. I think he looks adorable even with the placenta in the way. I can't wait to see what he looks like in person!

Church Shower

This past weekend our church had a baby shower for me. It was such a nice shower, and we received many wonderful gifts. Several people prayed for Ben and I, and it was such a sweet time. Thank you to everyone who came and for the great gifts for Ben.

33 Weeks

Tomorrow I will actually be 34 weeks, but here is a picture from this past week.
